Transportation Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all transportation activities within our organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive until the moment they depart.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate transportation services for guests and employees, ensuring timely and efficient transportation to and from various locations.
  • Oversee the scheduling of transportation services, ensuring that vehicles and drivers are properly assigned and available as needed.
  • Monitor transportation operations and address any issues or challenges that may arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transportation activities, including daily logs and trip reports.
  • Provide guidance and support to guests and employees regarding transportation logistics, including directions and travel information.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure smooth coordination of transportation services throughout the property.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required:    High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Preferred Degree:      N/A     
  • Certificate(s) or License(s):
  • Years of experience:       1-2     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Previous experience in transportation coordination or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and employees at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including transportation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to safely operate company vehicles
  • Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
