Housekeeper

Lovely couple with a beautiful home in Charlottesville, VA seeks to hire an experienced and versatile housekeeper with experience working in a fine home or fine hotel.

 

Primary responsibilities will include the daily, deep and specialty cleaning for the home and laundry, as well as help with other organizational and household projects. The Housekeeper will also assist with running errands, and the purchase household supplies. They will work alongside and report to a house manager.

 

The right candidate will have excellent cleaning, organizational, and laundry skills. Knowledge of the care of fine finishes and specialty fabrics. Experience with light cooking, setting a beautiful table and serving a plus! This person will be up to date on current cleaning techniques and have prior experience working in a fine home with good references.

 

This is generally, Monday through Friday schedule; 40 hours per week with some flexibility to work some weekend days on occasion when family is entertaining.  Hourly wage of up to $45 per hour with an excellent compensation package is offered, depending on qualifications. Relocation assistance available from the east coast for the right candidate
