Housekeeper
An executive couple with a beautiful seasonal residence Palm Beach, FL would like to hire an experienced full charge, Housekeeper to care for their home. This is a full-time, year-round role with guaranteed minimum hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors and service providers.
- Maintain a project list and perform deep cleaning and organizational projects.
- Maintain all closets, perform household laundry (including handwashing and ironing), and maintain the dry-cleaning log.
- Purchase groceries and household supplies and stock the home ahead of principal and guest arrivals and while they are in residence.
- Run errands as requested.
- Available to drive principals and their family or guests to the airport.
- Capable of occasional light cooking (avocado toast, a simple salad, an omelet, a wrap, roast chicken)
Qualifications:
The right candidate has prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home or luxury hotel property. Great for a Chief Stew or Yachty! To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter with excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials, furnishings, and clothing. It is important that candidates have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The right person can prepare a simple breakfast or lunch occasionally. You should be comfortable in a home with stairs and a small, well-trained dog.
Schedule
Generally, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility. The principals need this person to have the flexibility to work additional hours January -April when they are in residence. In the off-season the principals will guarantee 40 hours.
Salary and Benefits
$35/hour with benefits including, annual discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with match, 15 days PTO, paid holidays.
