We are looking to add to our growing hospital and are in search of a Veterinary Nurse ( Vet Tech ) with a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience, as well as experience in Emergency and Critical Care, to join our Education & Development team. Also, having supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

 

*The schedule we are looking to hire for are Tuesday through Friday 8pm - 6am.

 

****Current CVT/LVT/RVT required***

**VTS Certification in ECC preferred

Your skills & experience and how you'll utilize them to help our patients :

 

  • Experience in emergency/critical care veterinary medicine
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of advanced small animal medicine
  • Proven work experience training new and seasoned employees in veterinary medicine
  • Proficiency in performing - as well as teaching- procedures, treatments, drug calculations, thorough documentation of medical records, clinical techniques and routines
  • Anesthesia Monitoring
  • Possess extensive hospital organizational and operational knowledge
  • Mentor clinical team members
  • Attention to detail and a calm demeanor
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, especially with veterinary software
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Fear Free handling: safe, stress free interactions for team members, clients, and patients
