Member Engagement Associate, ES&F Center

Position Summary:

The Member Engagement Associate (MEA) role is a customer engagement and support position. The MEA reports and works closely with the Member Engagement Director (MED) to engage, retain and grow its membership base, and achieve the ESF Center’s financial targets. This role will encompass a broad range of operational responsibilities but will also directly expose the successful candidate to the most senior-level engagements with corporate executives. This position is based in our NYC office (located in Midtown East), although remote work may be enforced periodically due to COVID-19. The MEA is eligible for our exceptional benefits program, which includes 403(b) contributions, health/dental/vision coverage, 2+ weeks of vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifies and conducts outreaches to prospective functional executives who can benefit from ESF Center resources and offerings.
  • Schedules, participates in, and provides support for onboarding and engagement meetings with executives, including arranging briefing materials for those discussions.
  • Responsible for updating CRM records including the documentation of member meetings and activities, membership renewals for finance forecasting, adding/maintaining contacts.
  • Responsible for managing Membership Management Portal for ESF Center membership packages.
  • Helps MED respond to Member requests for information.
  • Create membership engagement presentation decks, usage reports, and assist with other Center marketing collateral.
  • Works with MED and related teams to manage membership renewals including finance forecasting, save strategies and analyzing utilization metrics for retention.
  • Supports MED in sharing Member priorities with internal partners to help shape ESF Center offerings and identify thought leadership opportunities.
  • Works with MED to manage ESF Community online platform.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational and/or project management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to interact with business executives and internal partners.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Suite - Excel and Powerpoint critical.
  • Proficient in using CRM and/or other customer relationship software.
  • Account management or client service a plus.
